Stephen Whitehouse - Director and Family Support Worker
Welcome to Jigsaw Family Support which was founded in 2016, I've been supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Differences for over 20 years years.
My childcare career started in 2000 where I became Residential Childcare Support Worker at a Special Education Residential school in Cumbria. During this time I started to understand and learn the skills needed to work with children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. I have a wealth of experience in working positively with children who have Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) Conduct Disorder (CD) Avoidant Personality Disorder (APD), Sensory Processing Differences (SPD) as well as attachment issues and more recently gaming addiction.
